Alzheimer’s Wairarapa aims to “make life better for all people affected by dementia” in the Wairarapa region, through support, education and awareness.
Alzheimer’s Wairarapa provides programmes, outreach and advocacy which are available to all people impacted by Alzheimers and other forms of dementia in the Wairarapa.
The services we provide, in conjunction with other local organisations, enable members of our community to live their best life.

WanderSearch
Alzheimers Wairarapa is partnered with Land Search and Rescue through their WanderSearch programme.
WanderSearch supports people living in the community who are at risk of going missing to live healthy active lifestyles by providing them with a small device that can be found using specialist equipment.
